Ph.D. Pool Care is a locally owned pool cleaning and repair company serving Bastrop County, Texas and the greater Austin area. Founded in 2016 by Dr. Christian Gay, who built the company’s chemistry-first approach while pursuing a Ph.D. at UT Austin, the crew handles everything from weekly maintenance to full equipment replacement. No contracts, no long-term commitment.

- Weekly pool service in four levels: Chemistry Only, Chemistry Plus (equipment inspection, basket cleaning, robot maintenance, filter backwashing), Full Service (adds weekly netting, brushing and vacuuming), and VIP (adds LSI water-balance monitoring and priority repair scheduling)
- Equipment repair and installation: pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, pool lighting, salt systems and custom PVC work, handled by a dedicated repair division rather than by weekly cleaners doing occasional equipment work
- One-time deep cleaning for neglected or seasonal pools
